Bobby was the first boy we ever helped back in 2002 and to this day he is still one of the most severe cases we have seen. He has been operated on twice both for his lip, palate and nose. Shortly after Bobby had his first operation, aged 5 years-old, his father passed away from Tuberculosis. His family struggled financially but luckily a dear friend of the charity has given Bobby a monthly sponsorship since 2004. He was top of his class throughout school and he finished high school with good grades. Bobby then took some time out but he is now ready to further his education and go to College. This goes to show the difference that standing orders can make to our charity as it can guarantee College and University fees for some of the more unfortunate children we help, breaking the cycle of disadvantage.
